What
is a CDFA?
A
Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) is a financial professional
who has completed the specialized training in the financial
issues of divorce through the college for Divorce Specialists.
A CDFA must also fulfill the continuing education requirements
and adhere to the Code of Ethics that is described through
the College for Divorce Specialists.
A CDFA takes all of your financial issues into consideration
and using Divorce Pro, a specialized software program,
can accurately project the long-term effects of any given
proposed divorce settlement. Any inequities are
revealed and you are provided with better information to
make the right decision in your settlement.
What
will a CDFA do for you?
- Provide help in achieving the most fair and financially
equitable divorce settlement
- Provide you with personalized spread sheets and graphs
customized to your divorce and providing a complete explanation of the reports
so that you and your lawyer understand their content.
- Help
you understand the financial issues of...
- Personal vs. Marital property
- Tax problems and solutions
- Splitting the house
- Retirement and pensions
- Alimony
- Child Support
What
is Fair ?- Let a CDFA help you!
A
50/50 division of property and assets may not produce
equal results, or equal standards of living after the
divorce. Therefore, if the two spouses are unequally situated
at the time of the divorce, it is imperative that
you let a CDFA make your final settlement equitable
to YOU in all situations.
